We know how frustrating rosacea can be, and we’re here to help you treat it at its source. Our founder, Dr Jonny Betteridge has suffered with rosacea himself - and we want to help you treat it head on at our Marylebone clinic.

Understanding rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition which usually affects the central part of the face. It can cause:

  • Redness and flushing

  • Visible blood vessels

  • Occasional bumps or irritation

There are a few common triggers for rosacea, but everyone’s skin is different so we’d need to take a close look at your skin to tell you why your rosacea started.

Typically though, it can be triggered by:

  • Stress or hormonal changes

  • Sensitive skin or a weakened skin barrier

  • Certain foods or drinks

  • Environmental factors like sun, wind, or heat

Many patients also notice post-inflammatory redness too and if we can identify your triggers and understand your skin’s responses, we can help you manage your rosacea and help you look and feel your best.

How we treat Rosacea

Starting with an in-depth skin analysis, we use the OBSERV 520X to look at multiple layers of the skin - way beyond what the natural eye can see on the first layer.

Our treatments then focus on calming inflammation, reducing redness and supporting your skin’s resilience, but as everyone’s skin is different, our skin treatment pathways can really vary from person to person. They can include:

Supporting confidence and long-term skin health

Managing rosacea isn’t just about the treatments though - we’ll let you know how to best support your skin with the right routine and advice.

With this combination of treatments and daily care, you can reduce flare-ups, strengthen your skin barrier and enjoy a calmer, more even complexion.
