These Terms and Conditions govern all consultations, treatments, and services provided by Dr JB Aesthetics ('the Clinic', 'we”, 'our', 'us'). By booking an appointment or receiving treatment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR TREATMENT
You must be aged 18 years or over to receive treatment at the Clinic.
We reserve the right to request valid photographic identification to verify your age.
We do not treat patients under the age of 18 for cosmetic procedures.
Treatment is provided at the sole clinical discretion of our medical professionals. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed clinically inappropriate, unsafe, or not in your best interests.
2. CONSULTATIONS
Consultation fees are as follows:

Doctor consultation: £100

Skin practitioner consultation: £80
Consultation fees are redeemable against treatment or skincare purchases within 3 months.
Consultation fees are non-refundable.
A consultation does not guarantee treatment. Treatment will only be provided if clinically appropriate and agreed by both practitioner and patient.
3. PRESCRIPTION-ONLY MEDICINES
Some treatments provided at the Clinic, including botulinum toxin injections, involve the use of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs).
These treatments require:

Clinical assessment

A valid prescription issued by a qualified prescriber
Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of the prescriber and may not be provided if treatment is not clinically appropriate.
4. MEDICAL INFORMATION AND CONSENT
You are required to provide complete, accurate, and truthful medical information, including medical history, medications, allergies, and previous treatments.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in increased risk of complications and may invalidate your eligibility for treatment.
You must inform the Clinic of any changes to your health or medications prior to treatment.
Treatment will only be carried out after informed consent has been obtained.
5. APPOINTMENTS, DEPOSITS, AND CANCELLATIONS
A deposit is required to secure your appointment.
Deposit amount: £100
Deposits are redeemable against treatment.
Deposits are non-refundable if:

You cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice

You fail to attend your appointment

You arrive more than 10 minutes late
Appointments may be rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice without loss of deposit.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in unforeseen circumstances.
6. LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive late, we may not be able to provide your full treatment.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit retained.
7. PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of treatment.

8. TREATMENT OUTCOMES AND RESULTS
Individual results vary between patients.

That results will meet subjective expectations
Results depend on many individual factors including anatomy, metabolism, lifestyle, and compliance with aftercare.
Fees are charged for the provision of professional services and treatment, not for guaranteed outcomes.
9. RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS
All medical and aesthetic treatments carry inherent risks and potential complications.
These may include, but are not limited to:

Bruising

Swelling
-
Redness
-
Infection
-
Asymmetry
-
Migration of product
-
Allergic reaction
-
Vascular occlusion (in dermal filler treatments)

Need for corrective treatment, including dissolving filler
By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
You agree to follow all aftercare instructions.
You must contact the Clinic promptly if you experience any unexpected or concerning side effects.
10. REVIEW APPOINTMENTS
Review appointments may be offered at the discretion of the Clinic.
For botulinum toxin treatments, review appointments are typically conducted 2-3 weeks after treatment.
Adjustments cannot be guaranteed and are subject to clinical assessment.
Review appointments must be attended within the specified timeframe.
11. REFUND POLICY
Fees charged are for:

Professional time

Provision of treatment

Aftercare support
We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with aesthetic results.
Refunds will not be provided where treatment has been appropriately performed and delivered.
Refunds may be considered only in accordance with UK consumer protection law.
12. MEDICAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatment for:

Medical records

Treatment planning
-
Monitoring outcomes
These images form part of your confidential medical record.
Images will not be used for marketing purposes without your separate written consent.
13. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your personal and medical information will be stored securely and used only for legitimate medical and administrative purposes.
Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

14. MEDICAL RECORDS RETENTION
Your medical records are stored securely using our encrypted electronic medical records system, Pabau clinic software.
In accordance with UK medical, legal, and regulatory requirements, your medical records will be retained indefinitely to ensure continuity of care, patient safety, and compliance with our professional and legal obligations.
Your records are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel. We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You have the right to request access to your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
15. PATIENT CONDUCT
We operate a zero tolerance policy towards abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other patients.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment and terminate the professional relationship in such circumstances.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law
Otherwise, the Clinic’s liability shall be limited to the value of the treatment provided.
18. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
